Either we are getting used to the winters over here, or they are getting milder. This winter was wonderful apart from 2 weeks of heavy snow and blizzards in January, it really has not been too bad.
We took a long awaited trip to Niagara Falls in January to see the Ice Bridge. It was a lovely day, around -1C and everything was frozen. The best site was the frozen spray on the railings, lamp posts, trees and bushes.
Frozen Spray on the area around Horseshoe Falls
I am standing on about 2 feet of solid ice. Everything was coated. Those tall things behind me are the lamp posts. The trees in the back ground and across the street and are also covered in ice.

Almost 4 feet of snow in front or our townhouse. We shovelled a pathway to the front door. The wooden fence on the right is 5 feet high to give you perspective!
